Entry visa
According to this conference, the mere possession of a passport will suffice for any tourist stay of up to 3 months.
Vaccine and Covid test
A negative test of less than 72H will be required for people who are not triple vaccinated. (The test must be accompanied by this certificate (https://www.mhlw.go.jp/content/090099641.pdf) to be completed by the laboratory or pharmacy which carried out the test.
For people who are triple vaccinated, the French-English bilingual certificate will dispense with the test.
Cases of minors:
-Minors are considered to have the same status as an accompanying parent: if the parent is triple vaccinated, he/she is considered to be such, if the parent is not, he/she must perform a test.
Type of trip
The obligation to travel by tour operator or group should be waived. A tourist can travel to Japan as he wishes on October 11.
Travel and tourist tracing applications (MySOS and COCOA) will no longer be required.
