JR Pass in Japan

The JR Pass, or Japan Rail Pass, is a transport package designed specifically for foreign travellers visiting Japan. It provides unlimited access to Japan Railways (JR) trains over a specified period of time: 7, 14 or 21 consecutive days. This pass is particularly advantageous for those who plan to visit several cities, as it allows to borrow the famous Shinkansen (high speed trains), the regional JR lines, as well as some buses and ferries, such as the one linking Hiroshima to Miyajima.
